Another great week on the Road to Rome. We left "Sonni California" for the grey skies of Seattle and I am loving every minute of it! The countless antique stores, vintage shops and street fairs have produced so many goodies like this peachy bedazzled hat box! Read More As we strolled through Ballard's neighborhood shops we stumbled into Lucca, a cute store with vintage treasures and contemporary local finds. The store's decor pulled me in with its matte black walls, moody wood furniture and playful taxidermy. Back in the car we head down to Georgetown where all of the buildings are built with a beautiful red brick. You can feel the history of this old town by just driving down the street. We stop at a coffee shop with random vintage pieces for a jolt of energy and then head to Pacific Galleries. This huge antique mall has 200+ vendors and provided hours of good treasure hunting! Forage was one of my favorite booths with plenty of metallics and pops of colors. I was in home decor heaven! I will have to go back next week for round 2. Staying a little closer to home we focus our expedition on Everett and Snohomish. A quieter part of Washington with a surprise around every corner, like this classic black and red pick-up truck. I grew up in antique cars and when we drove passed this classic I couldn't help but take a quick photo! Once at the antique shops I find a Singer sewing machine and this one is wrapped up in a beautiful carrying case! A tip: When shopping at these types of stores don't forget to look up! I'm a sucker for a beautiful chandelier and this waterfall style dripping with crystals makes me weak in the knees! One week left in Seattle and many more places to explore, follow along on Instagram (#romanwithjaxanddeano) and come back here next Saturday for more of our adventures!
