Time to get crafty! I wanted a round mirror for the entryway but I am working with a small budget. I liked the look of a sunken mirror so I was on the hunt for a shallow item that could house the 14" beveled edge mirror I already had. I hit the thrift stores, garage sales and discount stores looking for something that would work, possibly a large cake pan. Read More I found this piece of bottle cap art in my local Ross store clearance section, I love the scalloped edges! I pulled out my handy tape measure and the interior was the perfect size to place my 14" mirror. I brought it home and gave it two coats of metallic gold spray paint. After a little super glue to the back of the mirror I placed it carefully in the middle of the painted bottle cap and put a couple of cans on top to hold it into place. I let it dry for a day before using a dot of super glue to attach a picture frame hook to the back side of the bottle cap and hung it in the entryway. A little paint, craft mirror and a repurposed piece of art transformed into a one-of-a-kind mirror! The hand painted wall tutorial coming soon!
